Beginning in the
coatings industry as an apprentice painter in 1971, Tim P. Simpson,
Sr. progressed through a union apprenticeship program before striking
out on his own in his first painting business venture in 1974. By 1980
he had been recruited by a large multi-state painting contractor who
had Tim, Sr. develop new business for them in Texas. He eventually established
a painting business in Texas in 1982 which was sold in 1988.
Tim, Sr. was recruited under contract in 1988 by
a large northeast industrial coatings contractor to handle project management
and develop new sales from their office in Michigan. After four years
of providing contract sales and management services he was recruited
by a large industrial coatings contractor located in the Pacific NW.
Tim, Sr. developed a new regional office in Portland for this contractor
to handle market expansion as well as project management in the coatings
industry along the West Coast in the Pulp & Paper, Manufacturing and
Electronics Industries.
By 1995 Tim, Sr. had settled in scenic Medford, OR
and established Simpson & Associates, Inc. which provides Commercial
and Industrial Coatings Services in Southern Oregon. His 30 years of
experience in the coatings contracting industry has provided a sound
basis for management of Simpson & Associates, Inc. Tim P. Simpson, Sr's
credentials include certification as a NACE (National Association of
Corrosion Engineers) Level III Certified Coatings Inspector providing
Oregon's only NACE Level III Certified Inspector in the Southern Oregon
Area.
Tim SR's capabilities in facility surveys, budgeting
& estimating provides our customers with on target cost projections
for current and future coating requirements. His ability to identify
coatings failures and calculate useful life of coatings systems enhance
our customers' ability to properly care for their facilities.

Beginning in the
coatings industry as a part time apprentice painter in 1985 Tim P. Simpson,
Jr. worked under the tutelage of the elder Tim Simpson and various jobsite
foremen. His work was performed on coatings & finishes projects varying
from wastewater treatment facilities, to wall-coverings in high rise
hotels and churches to painting office structures and retail buildings.
After graduation from high school Tim, Jr. enlisted
in the Army and served two tours including Korea and elsewhere. After
receiving injuries in the line of duty Tim, Jr. retired from the military
with an honorable discharge as a disabled American vet. Tim, Jr. relocated
to Oregon and attended college while working for Simpson & Associates,
Inc., graduating from Southern Oregon State University in 1999.
Tim P. Simpson, Jr. handles sales, marketing and project
management for the Floor Coatings Division of Simpson & Associates,
Inc. and is actively involved in the development of Simpson & Associates,
Inc. and its market potentials. He brings a background of experience
developed in field operations and expanded into management over the
years.
Tim, Jr's abilities in training and field management
enhanced with his working knowledge of the Commercial & Industrial Coatings
Industry make his management of our Team Training Program essential
to the vitality and growth of Simpson & Associates, Inc.

Lawrence Salle
has been with Simpson & Associates, Inc. in the capacity of Supervisor
since 1996. Lawrence had started in the coatings industry in Montana
as a painter in the 1980's and progressed into field supervision as
his skill levels in coatings application and managing jobsite personnel
grew over the years.
Simpson & Associates, Inc. recruited Lawrence Salle
and relocated him from Montana to Medford, OR where Lawrence now lives
and works for Simpson & Associates, Inc. Lawrence's attention to detail
has led us to put Lawrence in charge of Quality Assurance/Quality Control
for Simpson & Associates in our Commercial Coatings Division of the
firm.
Lawrence Salle supervises our crews on coatings projects
including hospitals, banks, retail buildings and municipal facilities.
His attention to detail eliminates customer complaints before they happen
and create an environment of pride in workmanship by our employees.
We have many satisfied repeat customers for our coatings
services as a result of Lawrence and his attention to detail. Lawrence
always places our customer first which is Job One in our business strategy.

Tom Gerald brings
a high level of expertise both technical and in field supervision to
our firm. Tom's field has been in industrial coatings for more than
30 years. He has worked world wide on sandblasting and painting projects
in industries including petro chemical, Pulp & Paper, ships, bridges,
water towers, boiler stacks, and tanks.
His range of projects have been from Saudi Arabia
to the Alaskan Oilfields and on to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco
Bay. Tom has resided in Southern Oregon where he has worked for Simpson
& Associates, Inc. as a Field Production Supervisor since 1995. Tom's
abilities in rigging safety, knowledge of coatings composition, and
years of experience in field supervision are a valuable asset to the
firm.
